Darwin Week 2022 will run February 9 - 10. All events are free and open to the public.

This year, Dr. Erika Edwards will deliver our keynote talk in a hybrid format (in-person and via Zoom) at 7pm on
February 10th at the John C. Guyon Auditorium in Morris Library. The Zoom link is available below or by clicking the calendar event:
The annual Darwin Week Student Symposium will be held on Tuesday February 9 at 6pm in the SIU Student Center Auditorium. At the symposium,
current students will present their research in the biological sciences. Further, there will be a reception for the annual Darwin
Week Art Display at the beginning of the symposium. Natural history, biology, and evolution themed art pieces will be on display in
'Art Alley' at the Student Center throughout the month of February.
This year's Darwin Week will also feature a game night on Wednesday February 9 in the SIU Student Center International Lounge.
At the game night, there will be a tournament of Evolution: The Beginning with prizes for winners and few other lucky participants.
The tournament starts at 7:30pm. Tournament registration begins at 7:15pm (max 40 participants). Open play begins at 6:30pm.
